Co2 Scrubber

A carbon dioxide scrubber is a device which absorbs carbon dioxide (Co2). It is used to treat exhaust gases from industrial plants or from exhaled air in life support systems such asrebreathers or in spacecraft, submersible craft or airtight chambers. Carbon dioxide scrubbers are also used in controlled atmosphere (CA) storage.

Fruits breathes : it uses oxygen(O2) and products Co2. A Co2 scrubber removes the formed carbonic acid from the storage cells to prevent high concentrations from forming and causing damage to your fruit. Carbon dioxide production depends on product type, storage room dimensions, number of storage rooms and applied storage conditions.

O2 Scrubber

O2 Scrubber removes oxygen from aspirated cell air (circulation) or ambient air (injection), leaving behind a high nitrogen content. O2 Scrubber reduces the oxygen content in the storage room after filling it or after the Cell / Cold room has been opened during the storage season.
